Meet Our Team

K-9 Hurley
Bloodhound
Hurley was born in Hamptonville, NC in 2006 and started training with Triad Bloodhounds when he was 8 months old. He is dual certified in man- trailing and HR identification. Hurley has had successfully assisted in several water recoveries of drowning victims. Because of Hurley's "quick snap/bold" temperament, he has earned the nickname "Jaws".

K-9 Huda
Bloodhound
Huda was born in 2007 in Pineville, Louisiana. He started training when he was 8 weeks old. He is dual certified in man- trailing and HR identification. Huda has recently completed Level 1 of Human Remains course at Western Carolina University. Huda's coat is considered "Liver" which is a rare color for a bloodhound. Because of where he came from (La.) he has earned the nickname " The Ragin' Cajun".

K-9 Daisy
Bloodhound
Daisy was born in 2012 in Wilksboro, NC and started with the team when she was 8 weeks old. She is certified in man- trailing and working toward her HR certification. Daisy's smaller physical size earned her the nickname "Little Squirt", but her hunt drive makes her larger than life!

K-9 Nick
Bloodhound
Nick started training with the team in January 2013 when he was 10 weeks old. At home he enjoys playing with another Bloodhound named Yogi and he enjoys going hiking. Nick is certified in Search and Rescue Tracking.

K-9 Yogi
Bloodhound
Yogi was rescued by one of our team members in 2013 when he was 2 years old and is now certfied for Search and Rescue Tracking. He enjoys going to the park to play with Nick and he loves tennis balls!

K-9 Sadie
Labrador Retriever
Sadie began training with Triad Bloodhounds in 2011 when she was 6 months old. When she is not working she enjoys swimming in the pond and playing fetch with tennis balls. Sadie is certified in Search and Rescue Tracking.

K-9 Noah
Rottweiler
Noah was rescued from the Atlantic Rottweiler Foundation. He began training with the team in 2013 when he was 3. He is certified in search and rescue tracking. Noah is also a certified Therapy Dog. Noah enjoys Obedience Training, Rally, Scent Work and Barn Hunting during his off time. More than anything he is a lap dog. He does not know he is to big.

K-9 Casey
Rottweiler
Casey was rescued from the Atlantic Rottweiler Foundation. She began training with the team in 2013 when she was 4. She is certified in search and rescue tracking. She enjoys Obedience Training, Scent Work and Barn Hunting during her off time. She also enjoys a good hike in the woods with Noah.
